Gore Developments Limited Makes it Happen

Gore Developments Limited is this year's proud sponsor of the Caribbean Equestrian Association (CEA) Mini Dressage Challenge, taking place on Friday, November 2, at the Kingston Polo Club, Caymanas Estates, in St Catherine.

Several notable riding professionals have come to Jamaica to instruct riders in preparation for this event, including Caymanian competitor Jessica McTaggart, who has participated in the 2010 CAC Games and the 2011 Pan Am Games, as well as Jamaican Olympian Samantha Albert.

The event aims to nurture and encourage local talent across all age groups. Jamaican riders will be ranked among the participating Caribbean countries. The CEA Mini Dressage Challenge is a prelude to the top international FEI World Dressage Challenge, which will take place in March 2013 and feature Jamaican riders who will be ranked internationally.

The Equestrian Federation of Jamaica (EFJ), formed in 1996, coordinates and oversees organised horse riding in Jamaica, including the CEA Mini Dressage Challenge. Its goal is to provide training to riders at all levels, to promote various disciplines of the sport, and secure sponsorship in order to raise the profile of competitive horseback riding in Jamaica. With continued support, the EFJ is able to offer clinics with coaches from all over the world. Gore Developments is pleased to align itself with the EFJ's vision and passion for the sport.
